“Come away into a deserted place, and rest a while.”
October 2-4, 2026 | $100
magdala moderator retreat 2026
What you can Expect
A gentle pause from the pace of everyday life. The Magdala Moderator Retreat will allow a space to rest, reflect, and rejuvenate your spiritual life—in the presence of loving community members. We invite you to return to yourself through intentional talks, restorative prayer, and time to simply be.
COMMUNITY
Together with other virtual, campus, and parish moderators, you will have the opportunity to make lasting, personal connections with fellow workers in the vineyard. Two days is far too short, but we thank God for the ability to gather in person for the very first time.
support
Throughout the retreat there will be opportunities for continued growth as we aim to support you in your stage of life. The Leadership Team will be offering conversation on identity, creating a rule of life, and other relief-based topics for your discernment.
PRAYER
This weekend will be centered, fueled, and uplifted by prayer and frequent access to the sacraments. Our prayer for this time together is that you experience a profound renewal of your relationship with Christ—this is a place of continued, sacred encounter.
REST
Most importantly, this weekend is about offering rest—from work and family life; from your normal day-to-day; even from your role within small group. Whatever season you find yourself in, there is grace in the ordinary—He is waiting for you.
“Who is this woman coming up from the desert? She’s leaning on the One who loves her.”
